Individual Support Staff

Varies: Springfield, Monson, South Hadley, Westfield, Wilbraham

Hours:

Part-Time: Hours vary depending on your availability, 3 to 20 hours weekly. Flexible Schedule, 1st and 2nd shift, Monday-Friday.

Summary:

Responsiblitlies:

Responsibilities – Taking out individuals into the community for recreational activities, i.e. bowling, mini, golf movies, gym, six flags, etc. We also provide companionship, and assist with doctors appointments, shopping, teaching daily life skills, cooking/meal preparations, cleaning, transportation, and vacation/day trips (Individual or MCS will cover cost). Each individual has different needs. Other duties may be added based on the individuals needs.
Light paperwork and documentation will also be required.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Training:

Required – must be 18 years or older with a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Must pass CORI and fingerprinting check. All trainings will be provided and paid for including: CPR, First Aid, Human Rights and Mandated Reporting. Staff is reimbursed for Mileage and recreational activities with the individual.
