Mandated Reporting Training

Mandated Reporting Training will enhance your knowledge on how to effectively report abuse.  This is mandatory training for all MCS staff once a year. Employees must have attended Human Rights/Mandated Reporting (formally DPPC) within the last five years and not be a new employee.  Mandated Reporting is a required training that must be renewed annually. You do not take the Mandated Reporting the year that you take your Human Rights Training as the Mandated Reporting information is included in it.

Taking & passing the Mandated Reporting training/test shall be a condition of employment for all Residential, Individual Supports, Placement Services, and Adult Site-based Respite Employees.

This is an annual training. Please do not proceed with this training unless you know for sure it is time for you to take it. You will NOT be paid for this training if it is not time for you to take it. For MCS employees/Independent contractors who successfully pass the Mandated Reporting Post-Quiz, you will be paid for 1 hour. It is your responsibility to make sure it is listed on your time sheet.

If you have any questions regarding this training, including if it is time for you to take it, you may contact Lutece Richardson, Training Coordinator at (413) 782-2500.

*****Please note you will only be able to attempt the post-test 1 time. A score of 70% is required to pass this exam. If you fail the test you will be required to go to the office and take a paper test.*****
