We need to inform you about a recent security incident involving HealthEquity, our HSA and FSA service provider. On March 25, 2024, HealthEquity detected unauthorized access to certain participant information, including names, addresses, email addresses, social security numbers, dates of birth, participant account identifiers, employer information, HealthEquity benefit type, and payment card transaction information (excluding account numbers). However, not all listed identifiers may have been compromised for all participants.

HealthEquity has taken immediate steps to address the situation, including disabling compromised vendor accounts, blocking IP addresses related to the breach, and implementing a global password reset.
